Multispectral and RGB camera

With the latest and greatly improved option for multispectral and field surveying the Mavic 3M combines both the multispectral camera with a powerful RGB camera and RTK positioning to fill more roles with one drone.

With an improved flight time of 42 minutes, the Mavic 3M can cover more ground than its predecessor with greater speed.

Now with real-time terrain follow through the forward and downward vision system and powerful CPU, the drone can reconstruct terrain models in real time. Allowing maintained accuracy when surveying on land with large changes in the terrain.

Sunlight sensor

The built-in sunlight sensor captures solar irradiance and records it in a image file, allowing for light compensation of image data during 2D reconstruction.

This results in more accurate NDVI results, as well as improved consistency of data acquired over time.

RTK module for centimetre-level positioning

Mavic 3M with RTK module for centimetre-level positioning. Flight control, the camera, and the RTK module sync in microseconds to accurately capture the location of each camera’s imaging centre. This enables Mavic 3M to do high-precision aerial surveying without using ground control points.

Omnidirectional obstacle sensing

Multiple wide-angle vision sensors work seamlessly with high-performance vision computing engine to sense obstacles in all directions precisely and plan a safe flight route that avoids them.
